Customer's Fault Description
Corroded battery holder. Bath installed in 2000.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Whirlpool Plus remote control arrived safely and on testing was dead. The battery compartment had signs of corrosion from water ingress (there were also tiny cracks in the case)
A repair was not possible as these items are sealed units, after talking to the customer it was concluded to break the remote apart to extract the code from the handset.
This was done and a clone was create (See below), the payment on this page is for the supply of a programmed clone and not a repair. The original remote will be disposed of as it is in many pieces.
