Customer's Fault Description
The screen lights up but I'm unable to view any options on the screen as it's blank. Buttons are fine, batteries are new and in correctly. The screen "display" is blank.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on testing was found to be dead (no screen illumination)
On opening the internal terminal had signs of a battery leak. This had corroded parts of the print around the display connection.
The print was reworked which restored functionality. Please note that there is no backlight on the screen, this cannot be repaired as spare displays are not available. This does not affect the functionality of the remote itself.
