Customer's Fault Description
Power button stopped working. I applied some graphite to underside of the buttons but now all buttons are not working.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Yamaha remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to have no signal present on any button press.

When opened the PCB was found to be "sticky".  The PCB was cleared of all contaminants and then it was found that many buttons were nonresponsive.

This was due to worn button contacts.  Replacement conductive pads were glued under all buttons which restored full functionality.
