Customer's Fault Description
Does not connect with control unit.had to have the battery wires re soldered after the broke off.ive tried doing a reset with the button on the control unit,which flashes for so long then goes off.the light on the handset is constantly flashing I don’t think it recognises the control unit any longer.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This motor mover remote controller arrived safely and on testing was found to be intermittent and have no RF signal. The battery cover was also found to be missing (this cannot be replaced)
On opening there was a SMD diode with a hole burnt in it (see image). Once this was replaced full functionality was restored.
A replacement battery cable was also fitted so that the battery fits inside the housing as the one that was one the remote was too thick.
