Glow worm. Climapro 2 Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Glow worm. Climapro 2

Customers Fault Description : The problem I’m having is with the battery compartment. I have to play around with the batteries to work the remote. Sometimes it just doesn’t come on at all .

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This remote arrived safely and on initial tested was totally dead.

When opened there was corrosion found from a battery leak (see image).  The acid was neutralized which did restore dower but unfortunately the display is intermittently garbled. 

Unfortunately, a repair has not been possible in this case.
