Customer's Fault Description
One of the wires to the 9 volt battery is broken. Otherwise we believe it is OK but we can’t test it. The battery cover is missing and we are looking for that. We will send it without the battery and battery cover if that’s OK.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Hole in the wall gas fire remote control arrived safely and on inspection was found to have a damaged battery cable making the item dead.
A replacement battery cable was fitted which restored full functionality.
