Customer's Fault Description
LED lights up but does not connect to the fireplace. I borrowed a neighbour’s remote and it worked so it must be the remote.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This remote arrived safely and on testing was found to not transmit a signal.

This was due to a faulty transducer.  Once the transducer was replaced full functionality was restored.
