Mertik Maxitrol / Magiglo Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : The remote control works to ignite the fire and raise the gas level but does not work when trying to turn the gas down (i.e. the down button doesn't work).

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This Remote control for a Magiglo Elite ME16T gas fire arrived safely and on testing the bottom button was found to be non functioning.  The button itself weas replaced which restored full functionality.
