Recliner Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Recliner
Customers Fault Description : I’m hoping the remote is faulty as chair does not recline anymore
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This recliner remote control arrived safely and on inspection the cable was damaged and there was corrosion inside the remote from a liquid contamination.
Electronically the remote seemed to be functioning. After talking to the customer, it was decided to replace the cable (a straight cable was fitted) and rework the PCB.
Itme was returned and was found to have corrosion from liquid contamination, both microswitches were replaced and the contamination cleared. Returned 15th May 2025
