Merlin M872 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Just stopped functioning

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This remote arrived safely and on testing was found to be functioning as normal.  A visual inspection revealed that there was a couple of dry solder joints.

After talking to the customer, it was found that the item was initially intermittent which means that the solder joints may have been the culprit.

The solder was reflowed and then both buttons replaced as a precaution.
