Customer's Fault Description
The fine black wire has become detached from the black top which has the battery’s contact points on. The red wire is still intact. Also the lid has to be closed with cello tape.
All the buttons work.
The little light does not light up….. probably because the battery isn’t working!
The battery is new.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on inspeciton the battery cover was held on with tape, this cover is not available as a spare meaning it cannot be replaced.
The remote was dead due the battery cable being damaged, a replacement batter cable was fitted which restored full functionality.
