Velux Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Cannot see the screen but still works

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This window remote control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have a non functioning display.

The remote was opened and unfortunately there was corrosion over many parts of the print from an apparent battery leak.  The corrosion was also found under the display itself.

Due to the damage sadly, a repair is not possible. 

Even though these remotes have been discontinued for some time, new old stock can still be found on eBay. 

This item was disposed of as per the site's terms 5th 6 2025
