Customer's Fault Description
Remote will not read full voltage, with new Duracell battery installed. May power up unit, but will then fail to power down. Repeated power offs fail to control fire. Suspect internal regulator failure.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Riva 2 500 gas fire remote controller arrived safely and on testing was found to have an erroneous battery indicator.  The voltage regulator was replaced which restored full functionality.
