Customer's Fault Description
The remote is completely dead, even with recently recharged batteries in it. No lights. Totally unresponsive.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Rotel CD Player remote control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead.

This was due to a dry solder joint, once reflowed full functionality was restored.

Please note that there are no visible lights on this remote as it is infra red invisible light which is not viewable with the human eye.
