Soundbar does not respond to the remote

This remote arrived safely and on testing was found to be dead and the battery would rattle when shook.

This was due to the spade terminals being flattened (usually from an incorrect battery being inserted).  The terminals were reworked which restored full functionality.  A CR2025 battery will be supplied fitted on return. 

This item will be shipped with RF23509.
