Westin Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Westin
Customers Fault Description : Have replaced battery. Will not reset itself as per Manufacturers guidance. They say I have to buy a new one, but I hope you will be able to mend it.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Extractor remote control arrived safely and on testing was dead. This was due to the PCB moving inside the case due to a broken mounting pin. The PCB was hot glued into position. Then it was found that the top button was nonresponsive. This was due to a tiny corrosion spot in the print. The print was reworked, and full functionality was restored.
