Customers Fault Description : remote control not working at all new batteries put in but nothing

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This remote arrive safely and on testing was found to be dead.  This was due to a SMD diode breaking away from the PCB.  Once replaced full functionality was restored.
