Customer's Fault Description
Both remotes have stopped working eve after changing batteries
Remote Fixer Repair Response
These two remotes arrived safely and on testing the Samsung remote was found to be transmitting on all buttons as per normal operation and the code for each button was confirmed to be correct and consistent. This item has been classed as no fault found.
The Garadoor remote was found to be dead when a battery was inserted. When opened this was due to one of the terminals being coated in contamination from a battery leak (see image). Once cleared of all contaminants full functionality was restored.
