Customer's Fault Description
The gas fire has stopped working. The remote control has had a wire pulled out of it and so the fire which usually works by pointing the remote control towards the sensor which is on a wire placed underneath the fire, no longer works. It usually works by pointing the remote control towards the sensor and pressing two buttons at the same time.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This remote arrived safely and on inspection was found to have a damaged battery cable.

A replacement battery cable was fitted and all 4 buttons replaced.  Full functionality was restored.
