Customer's Fault Description
Battery leak corroded the contacts. And with fresh batteries it still won't power any buttons.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This FRM-2 Amplifier remote control arrived safely from Canada and on testing was found to be dead.
On removing the PCB there were corrosion spots over parts of the print causing open circuits and also some buttons were open circuit.
The print was reworked and the effected buttons replaced, full functionality was restored.
