Customers Fault Description : No response to remote control - suspect IR transmitter failure Loose battery cover

This Linn remote control handset arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead.
On opening the internal terminals were found to have corrosion on their contact points meaning no power was getting to the PCB. The terminals were etched clean which restored full functionality.
