Loose microchip on circuit board. (Can hear it when you shake it).
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This remote arrived safely and on inspection was found to rattle and the display was blank.

The vanity metal plate had dislodged from the case and caused the ribbon connector for the display to become partially unplugged.

The display was refitted correctly and then the vanity plate hot glued back into position.

Full functionality was restored.
