Customers Fault Description : Remote buttons not functioning I believe it is the contact points

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This remote arrived safely from Spain and on testing was found to have intermittent functionality. When the batteries were rotated the remote would work.  This was due to contaminated terminals from a battery leak.

The terminals were etched clean and then recoated using SCP.  Full functionality was restored.
