Wb- r38 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Power of tv comes on But then cannot use channel buttons
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
These two remotes arrived safely and on testing both were not transmitting.
On opening the older remote there was a corrosion spot in the print causing an open circuit, the print was reworked which restored full functionality.
The second, newer remote was opened and unfortunately after an extensive print continuity test it was concluded that the issue was the main IC which makes a repair not possible due to lack of part availability.
