Customers Fault Description : Controller doesn’t appear to be connecting to the fireplace

This remote arrived safely and on testing was found to be transmitting as per normal operation.
The signal was strong at the expected 868Mhz.
It is likely that the issue is with the receiver, the customer is to replace the batteries within the receiver and try to pair the two together again.
