Customer's Fault Description
1) Some buttons on the remote work OK and show the required setting on the remote's LCD screen.
2) Other buttons don't work at all and show nothing on the remote's LCD screen.
3) There seems to be no communication at all between the remote control and the AV receiver.
The batteries have been checked and are OK, plus the battery terminals have been checked and there is no sign of any corrosion.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This AV Receiver / Amplifier remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to have numerous non functioning buttons.
On opening this was found to be due to corrosion in the print from a battery leak.
The print was reworked which restored full functionality to all buttons.
