Customer's Fault Description
As far as I can tell its the raising and lowering that has the fault, originally it was intermittent but now the light flickers (instead of solid) and nothing works up or down.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This remote arrived safely and on inspection was found to have faulty microswitches.  All 4 switches were replaced and then the rest of the remote tested as ok.
