Customer's Fault Description
Caseing has distorted over the last couple of weeks. Looks as though caused by heat and the technical team at BFM suggest it may have been caused by overheating battery or shorting on the board.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on inspection was found to have a badly warped case. This is from External heat and not from inside the remote.
A replacement case was found from a scrap Gazco handset (see image) brand new cases are not available as spares; this was fitted and the remote tested as ok.
