Customers Fault Description : It fell and went dead. I went to a repaircafe but they were not able to revive it.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This remote arrived safely from the Netherlands and on inspection the facia has damage to it from an attempted opening prior to arrival with us. Unfortunately, when opened there was damage to the inside of the remote with many components being physically broken and scratches in the print. This is from whoever tried to open the item previously, something looks to have been poked inside the remote most likely to try to pry it open without removing the 4 corner screws.
Due to the human created damage a repair is not possible. The true fault is a common issue whereby a SMD had fallen from the PCB. This would have been repairable if the other physical damage was not present.
As per our sites service details all return postage fees are fixed at £12 - all items are return by Tracked methods to reduce the risk of loss or damage!
