Customer's Fault Description
No responses on LED on any of the buttons, tried cleaning battery terminals as they were slightly corroded. Also tried cleaning the PCB with just a damp cloth but no joy. I did see a very dim lit LED but hardly visible unless in the complete dark
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely from the Netherlands and on inspection was found to be missing its battery cover and fixing screw.
On testing the remote was confirmed to be dead.
Unfortunately when opened the entire PCB was found to have suffered corrosion from a battery leak (the dark green pits in the print is actually corrosion under the solder mask). Due to the amount of damage a repair is not possible.
