VELUX Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : VELUX
Customers Fault Description : Device not powering up from batteries (swapped out old ones, by no improvement). Only powers up when connected via USB. Possible signs of corrosion to interior.

This Window remote control (KLR 200) arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to not power up from the batteries, this was due to damaged battery terminals. The terminals were reworked and replated which restored full functionality (see image)
