Customers Fault Description : The remote has started consuming batteries very fast with new ones lasting only a few days. Also, the battery connector is now split but still works and probably should be replaced.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Gazco gas fire remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to have a faulty voltage regulator. A replacement regulator was fitted and then the battery cable replaced. Full functionality was restored.
The total price as per our sites fixed price policy is £20 plus postage/packing (£26 in total) - all items are return by Tracked methods to reduce the risk of loss or damage!
