Screen is just lighting up, no information shown,no sign of battery leakage, fresh batteries installed, re set procedure followed, but has not worked
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Central heating remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have a blank display.
Unfortunately, when opened the remote was found to have suffered a battery leak and the acid had corroded the ribbon cable for the display (see image). These displays are not available as spare making a repair not possible.
