Hi, I can’t get the remote to work despite changing the battery

This Remote control for a Homcom treadmill arrived safely and on testing was found to be dead.

On opening part of the battery terminal block was found to be broken.  Once the block was glued back together full functionality was restored.  A battery will be supplied fitted on return.
