Customer's Fault Description
Remote had a rattle and a metal piece fell out of batteries area. I turn on the treadmill and none of the buttons on remote make the treadmil unit respond.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This treadmill remote arrived safely and on inspection was found to have a broken battery terminal that had broken loose from the PCB.  The terminal was replaced which restored full functionality.
