Sirius BeFree S6/S Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Sirius

Model : BeFree S6/S

Customers Fault Description : Remote control stopped working after being fault free. Replaced battery, and remote initially worked again as expected, then stopped working again. Replaced battery again, but now remote doesn't seem to work at all.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This remote arrived safely and on testing was found to be dead.  This was due to one of the terminals being corroded / tarnished which was insulating the battery contacts.

The terminal was etched clean which restored full functionality (See image)
