The screen light turns on but no menu appears
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Boiler thermostat remote arrived safely and on testing was found to have a blank screen.

This was due to corrosion on the ribbon cable for the display (see image).  The cable was cut back to bypass the damage, this restored full functionality.
