Customer's Fault Description
Screen display not showing. On inspection, there was slight battery corrosion. Cleaned up but still no display. New batteries were found to be dead when removed so suspected dodgy batteries. Got new batteries and tested them first, still no display showing but when tested them on removal they were also dead. Obviously something is draining the batteries despite no screen display.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Boiler thermostat remote arrived safely and on testing was found to be dead.

This was due to a blown voltage regulator.  Once replaced full functionality was restored.
