Customer's Fault Description
The remote itself works without issue but the battery has leaked and corroded the terminals. I managed to get it working with silver foil to connect the batteries but this is not ideal so hopefully you can attach new terminals.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This remote arrived safely and on inspection was found to have badly corroded battery terminals from a battery leak.  All terminals were replaced which restored full functionality.
