Mertik Maxitrol Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Mertik Maxitrol

Customers Fault Description : Loose battery housing, not dependable, shows low battery despite new replacement fitted. Often slow to respond to control buttons.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This Remote Control for a DRU Diablo gas fire arrived safely and on testing was found to have a faulty voltage regulator.  A replacement regulator and battery cable were fitted which restored full functionality.

Please note that the "looseness" of the battery is normal, this is how all of these remotes are.  A sponge spacer was installed but is not required.
