Cambridge Audio Azur 650BD Remote Repair Details

Model : Azur 650BD
Customers Fault Description : Remote no longer works due to battery leak/corrosion. From what I can see, from looking inside the battery bay, it looks like internal circuitry has been corroded.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Blu Ray Player remote control arrived safely and on testing was conformed to be dead.
On opening there was numerous corrosion spots throughout the print. Initially it was thought that the item was beyond repair but after the print was reworked full functionality was restored.
