Customer's Fault Description
Not working + 1 retaining screw not holding.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on testing was found to be dead. The terminals were corroded making a power connection difficult. The terminals were etched clean then coated using SCP which restored functionality.
The screw holes were loose. There was a physical crack down the shaft of one of the screw holes. These were heat treated which then made a better screw fitting, its important to not overtighten the screws or it will crack the case again.
