Caple Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Caple

Customers Fault Description : Light comes on on the remote but buttons do not seem to activate Extractor hood. it was originall the fan not working but no it doesn;t turn the light on or anything

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This Extractor Fan Remote arrived safely and on inspection the PCB was found to be loose inside the case.  The battery that was supplied in the controller was found to be only 7.9V instead of 12V.

When a new battery was fitted the remote was found to transmit aa strong RF signal on each button press but the loose PCB was making the button actuation intermittent.

The PCB was hot glued into place.  A Duracell battery will be supplied fitted on return.
