Battery power connection is intermittent the battery wires have to be moved around to power the unit, i suspect it requires a replacement 9v connector
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Caravan Motor Mover Remote arrived safely and on testing was found to have intermittent power from a faulty battery cable.  A replacement battery cable was fitted which restored full functionality.
