This Remote control for kitchen hood arrived safely and on testing was found to transit on all buttons.  Unfortunately, the code being transmitted is the same for most buttons meaning that the main IC is at fault.  This IC is not available as a spare which makes a repair not possible.

The battery inside is low at 7 volts, after talking to the customer it is possible that the has drained due to the faulty IC.

A search was carried out for a replacement remote and the only one that could be found that is "possibly" suitable (it does have the same PCB) is at https://www.4caple.co.uk/cooker-hood-remote-control/product.pl?pid=5143797 - This seems to be a badly reviewed product.  Please contact the seller before making a purchase to check for compatibility with your cooker hood.
