Flamerite Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Flamerite
Customers Fault Description : All buttons appear to be working but the remote does not respond to any commands.. Fault with the motherboard?
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This remote arrived safely and on testing the top left button was intermittent (it would need a hard press to fully actuate).
The other buttons were working as normal with a strong RF signal present.
As the fault didn't match the customers description the customer was contacted. It was concluded to replace the button and test the remote again fully.
The button was replaced which restored full functionality.
The customer is to try to pair the remote on return with the heater, this is done by turning the dial on the back one step at a time testing all buttons each time until it makes a difference with the heater.
A Duracell battery will be supplied fitted on return.
