Customer's Fault Description
Remote was left with batteries were left in for many years. I have stripped remote down cleaned terminals and replaced with new batteries, I can get continuity over the contacts but the remote will not function 🥴 but unit was working perfectly fine when last used
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead.
The print was found to have signs of corrosion from a battery leak. The print was reworked which restored full functionality. The terminals were also cleaned and replated using SCP as they also had signs of corrosion.
