Yamaha Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Yamaha
Customers Fault Description : Range decreased until stopped working despite several sets of batteries tried
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This AV amplifier remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to not transmit a signal on any button press.
When opened there was signs of corrosion from a battery leak. The print was reworked and the IR led replaced. This restored the IR signal.
The display seems to have erratic functionality, it was initially blank but after a short while it would start to show characters. This is an issue that we cannot rectify.
