QUAD Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : QUAD
Customers Fault Description : Stopped working Checked batteries but still not working
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This QUAD 99 Controller arrived safely and on testing was found to be dead.
This was found to be due to dry joints on the IR LED which had also blown BC327. The solder was reworked and the transistor replaced which restored full functionality.
