Customer's Fault Description
The red power light comes on the fire.The control makes a noise for the remote control but no buttons work.We did have a problem in 2023. And you solved that as well.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on testing was found to have a couple of non functioning buttons. When opened there was a sticky liquid contamination over the PCB and button array. This was cleaned off and there was a couple of corrosion spots in the print. The print was reworked which restored full functionality.
The battery terminals also had suffered corrosion from the contamination (see images). The rusted terminals were then replaced as a precaution.
